It seems to come under London/Stepney Sandy on Hugh Wallia but there seem to be no marriages listed there.M

Using Access to Archives (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/)

I searched for 'St.Mary Whitechapel registers'

and first of the hits is this result (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/records.aspx?cat=074-p93mry1&cid=0&kw=st%20mary%20whitechapel%20registers#0)

Seems they are held at London Met archives
P93/MRY1/36.
Maybe you can e mail them and they will do a look up.

At the LMA, look for film number X102/108. There's an index in X024/100.

If you don't want to venture to London, the Mormons appear to have filmed it - FHL British Film 94702.

The LMA charge £40 an hour if you want them to search the register for you.

Hi
Thanks for all your replies, going to London is not an option so I will have to look at the others.

If you are a customer - sorry, member - of A***y they are claiming that they will have the LMA archives on line next year - but then they also said they were negotiating to put all of Rod Neep's Archive CD Books on line as well and this hasn't happened (yet). Not sure what Parish Chest thought of this idea!

Thanks for this Andrew.
But I have just told them I'm not going to renew my sub when it runs out next week. I can get it for free in my Library.
