I am searching for further information on James Cowen & Jane Baty and their family, from Cumberland, UK.

James Cowen (b.1796, Hutton Scengh, Cumberland) married Jane Baty (b.circa 1789, Cumberland) and they had 4 children: Esther (bc.1826), Thomas (bc.1826), Elizabeth (bc.1826) and Barbara (b.1828).

Jane Baty died in January 1832, and then James Cowen married Esther Scott later that year. The children that I have on my records (from the 1841 UK Census records) from James and Esther's marriage are: Joseph (b.1834), John (b.1835), Ann (b.1836) Mary (b.1838) and James (b.1839).

My interest is in James Cowen's first marriage to Jane Baty, and their daughter Esther. I would be very interested to correspond and receive any further information on this family.
