Is it possible to cross post without simply copying from one forum to another?

Having put my posting "700 Years in One Easy Step" into the Sucess Stories forum I realised that it may also be of interest to people in the Breconshire forum who may not cisit the Success Stories.

While in this case I'll copy and paste, a simple way of cross posting would be useful, though I can see the opportunity to spam multiple forums as a potential reason for not making it easy.

It is possible for a moderator (or me, as administrator) to do one of the following:

Move a thread to a different forum (leaving no trace of it)
Move a thread to a different forum, but leave a link behind, so that people can follow it
Copy a thread to a different forum (so that it appears in both)
But it is not possible for normal users to do that. Therefore, the simplest thing is for you to do what you did, by posting it in both.

Thanks Rod. It was so simple to copy to a second forum that, given the fact I can't see why I'd want to cross post to many more than one anyway, it's an easy answer. The more I thought about my original question the more I decided automatic cross posting could be open to abuse... so I reckon I suggested a bad idea anyway!
