Does anyone know anything about paper making in the Mounton area? Two generations at least of the BIRT family in this area worked in this field. Also, if anyone has access to the 1841 census for Mounton, would love to know if it shows John BIRT b Mounton and his wife Mary Ann (nee CHANDLER), whose children were born in Mounton in the 1840s. Principally interested in Mary Ann's given place of birth.
