Hi Sarah
There are only two Louisa SILKs in Somerset in the 1851 census, one 8 yo and one 2 mo. I assume the latter is yours! She's actually born in Nunney, and the family are in Marston Bigot.
From Gordon Beavington's transcriptions:
H.O. 107 /1932
The Principal Part of the Parish of Marston, Part of Gare Hill, Marston Pound, Parston Bottom.

Been going through my old messages and I can't believe I have not replied to the pair of you on your kind help on finding Louisa Silk.
Yes in deed you have found the right person and many thanks for this. I must sincerely apologise for the delay in replying my thanks as I know how infuriating it is when people donot appreciate your help and seem to just take via the internet.
Thanks agin
