Ellen or Sarah Ellen Hilton, Bolton or John Walmsley Barlow

Hello

Does anyone have any information on either John Walmsley Barlow (born approx 1887 - I think) who married Ellen Hilton (may of been known as Sarah Ellen Hilton). They were from the Bolton, Lancs area. They only had one child (my grandmother) Ethel Kitney in 1920... I have no more infomation on these families?! :confused:

The only thing I know is that she married John W Barlow. So it could be either except I don't think she had a middle name so that may exclude Ellen Mary...

I am thinking its the 2nd one Ellen Hilton abt 1889 Bolton. I don't want to bother you but do you have anymore info on her? Brothers or sisters?

The other thing I was wandering is there is talk (my mother seems to remember her mother saying) that John Walmsley Barlow had a 1st marrage before Ellen. The only name we have is Edith but I don't have a maiden name...?

found this marriage with others on the same page, you will need to get this Cert from the GRO it will then tell you who the Fathers are and their occupations will also tell you if John was a widow

Sorry dates no help, but looking at this I'd say it came from Kenneth's father and mother and that's another puzzle.......
I think you need to be ordering some of the Cert. to get infomation from them.
