Hi Everyone, I have been looking for my real Father for many years. Jim Gibson from Glasgow area. My Mum has never given me much information on him but I was told he won the Daily Record most handsome man contest back in the mid to late 1950's.
I was born 1959 as illigitamate to Mary Boggie. My mum worked at Oakbank Hosp as a Trainee Nurse and lived at the Good Shepherd Home for unmarried Mothers back 1959. My father and his family would not know how to find me if they wanted to as they do not know my name. I remember meeting him with his Mother in the Maryhill area when I was around 7 or 8. If there is anyone out there that knows a Jim Gibson that has a daughter born 1959 please feel free to contact me.
