National Archives - Air Force lists

While I was at the NA yesterday I though I'd have a look for my granfather in the Air Force lists. He served from 1946-1948. He wasn't there are all. Were those who were enlisted at the end of WWII not included?

The Air Force Lists would only include officers.

That would be why then....it was a bit of a shot in the dark really!
