Hello everyone,
Having received loads of info on the Hill family from "janbooth" and "caitupro", we now want to try to link our Hills to others in Devon
In 1851 John & Sarah Hill were living at Goulds, Plympton St Mary:-
John Hill Head 30 Ag Lab North Huish
Sarah Wife 27 Ugborough
John Son 7 Harford
Thomas Son 4 Harford
Richard Son 3 Harford
William Son 1 St Budeaux
Does anyone have access to any of the following?
PR's for North Huish and/or Ugborough to find Birth & Marriage records for John & Sarah,
1861/1871 Census to see if they appear on these records.
All info greatly appreciated

Son Richard (23) ia an Armourer for Royal Navy
Son Henry (16) is a Gun Maker
Son Edwin is an errand boy.
Emily & Carnesk are scholars.
Have looked at original image and Carnesk is what it looks like! However judging by other entries it could be Earnest! :)
Hope that helps

Thanks for this!
I think the second one is more likely - John is shown as working in HM Dockyard on a son's Marriage Cert.
Did the Census show places of birth on this one?

It's all the same entry. I just separated it out so as to put occupations etc in place.
