Does anyone have a Francis (Frank) McCAULEY, born about 1822 +/- 5 yrs., who came to the USA in 1856 from Canada? He was born in Ireland according to the US Census, and had a daughter Mary born in Nor. Ireland about 1854, so I assume he was married in Ireland prior to her birth,1852/3. The US Census shows him with a wife named Catharine (Kate) but I'm not positive she was Mary's mother. Francis also had a son Francis Jr. born in Canada in 1856, then the family went into Minnesota and there is a nine year gap between Frank Jr. and the next girl child.Mary married Henry CASSIDY and Frank Jr. married Hattie SANNEMAN. I'm trying to identify Francis Sr.s parents who he said were both born in Ireland, also who he married in Ireland. It's possible there is a McKEE connection. Any valid information would be greatly appreciated. cathycelt
