Would be glad of any information re Philip in the Angus(mostly Monikie) area of Scotland Have traced as far as Andrew Philip died 1855, his parents were John Philip & Margaret Edward............Thanks....W.Phillip

Andrew Philip b 1768 Murroes, Angus, Scotland d 1855 Monikie, Angus, Scotland. Parents: John Philip b 1745 and Margaret Edward b 1745. Andrew was married to Mary Robertson b 1765 d 1868. One child listed:David Philip b 1817 d 1897, Monikie, Angus, Scotland. David married Agnes Miller b 1819, Kinnel, Angus, Scotland d 1870. They had one child listed: Thomas b 1864. 1841 Census shows David living in Fife, Scotland.

........David was living in Monikie at the 1841 census with wife and child Ann
.........David had a further 6 children
.........Andrew Philip had 13 of a family have managed to trace most of them
.........John Philip was my 5th great grandfather
