Avatar help request

Hello, is anyone here who's a whizz at avatars and can help me? I've resized the pic I like to 80 x 70 pixels, but whenever I try to upload it, I get a message that it's failed |computer|.

Grateful for advice...

You seem to have an avatar there Feen. Or is it another one you are trying to upload.
Only certain filetypes can be used - no animated gifs for example or pictures in some odd format.

Can you elaborate a little more so that we can assist you?

Am I Puss In Boots :) ?? It's a JPEG image, nothing particularly obscure... just odd if I can't see it!

Hi Feen,

Yes, it is Puss in Boots.

Go to your User CP
Click on Edit Options in the box on the left
Scroll down until you get to "Thread Display Options"
Make sure that there is a tick in the box entitled "Show Avatars"

That should enable you to see all the avatars in everybody's posts - including yours.
