Hi.My Father went to New Zealand to fight with Kayforce in Korea in the 50s.He also fought in the British Army in WW11.He won a number of medals for his service and ranked up to Sergeant in England and WO1 in New Zealand. He served with the Liverpool Irish,The Kings and the Border regiment.I would like some info on what he may have done with Kayforce in Korea. It would be nice to hear from someone who was there or somebody who may have knew him.His name was Richard Eaton Evans (Dick Evans). He was born in 1921,but unfortunately passed away in 1976.Look forward to hearing from someone.I know that they still have a re-union over there.May go over one day and have a look, when I pluck up the courage to fly that far...............Colin

Hello Colin,

Have you seen the 1966 Encyclopaedia of New Zealand (http://www.teara.govt.nz/1966/W/WarsKorea/Kayforce/en) entry about Kayforce in Korea?

Digger History (http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-nz/nz-korea.htm) also has a paragraph and this page (http://www.korean-war.com/newzealand.html) lists the Kayforce units.
