Hiya - and welcome to the forum!

The best way to get started here is to have a nose around the various forum sections, then post a question on the forum section which covers your query - giving as much information as you can to help other members to assist you.

Don't worry if you make a mistake - we are all very friendly and the Moderators can always assist by moving a post in the wrong place or other errors.

There are a lot of very experienced people on the forum here - in both genealogy and many other topics - who are always willing to help.

Cheers,
Mark

I think all of us have abilities in some field - be it genealogy specific ones, such as Military or the ability to think laterally which often solves the brick wall problems. Others are skilled in other ways - computers perhaps or, as we have had in the past, cookery, gardening....

I was certainly not excluding our newer members - many of those know a lot more than I do about a whole range of things - including genealogy - and are happy to pitch in and help!

Mark :)
