I noticed that the 1841 Dorset census has been released. HAving just purchased Warks 1841, I can't afford another just yet! If any kind soul has this, could you please look for James Squibb in Weymouth for me?
In 1851 his widow Sarah and children are in 185 west place. She is 65, a retired nurse and blind.
Children (and approx 1841 ages) are Mary 30, James 27, William 20, John 14, Elizabeth 13, Sarah 10 and Phillis 8. Only Elizabeth and Phillis are still at home in 1851. Mary and JAmes had probably left by 1841.
