does anyone know of a Caroline rowland born 1847 father William rowland cant find them on census Caroline Rowland was boen Approx 1847 in Tarvin Cheshire her father William Rowland i belive was born in Tarvin approx 1820 but cant find him in the census

Caroline might appear on the GRO index in June 1846 (Gt Broughton v19 p67). If this is her, her birth certificate may help.

She may be the lass in the 1861 census at RG9/2626 f49 p32, a servant in Boughton, Chester.

Do you have Caroline's marriage certificate? If so, what was her dad's occupation and were there ay ROWLAND witnesses to the wedding?
There are several deaths for William ROWLANDs in the Gt Broughton area of Cheshire in the perdiod 1847-1861, so he may well have popped his clogs

Thank you for your reply'i have caroline Rowlands marraige Certificate to William Chaloner it was in 1869 her father William Rowlands occuption is cited as labourer the Witnesses was both Chaloners,Carolines occupation is down as Servant at the date of marrage her address washite Friars hope this helps

I think william Rowland was born approx 1820 in the Boughton Area tarvin i think Carolines Marraige certificate his occupation was labourer

Duddon is only 3 miles from Tarvin.

In the 1861 census, apart from the possible Caroline mentioned by Geoffers, and brother Joseph, who says he was born at Duddon, the rest have done a vanishing act, under any name.
