Oldest apprentice?

I came across an apprentice indenture recently, dated 1841, thatWitnesseth that James Thorn of Fareham in the County of Southampton of the age of Forty five Years of his own free will doth put himself Apprentice to George Coles of Fareham aforesaid Coachbuilder to learn his Art ... for the term of Three years.Has anyone come across an older apprentice?

And what about the youngest? Age eight is the youngest I've encountered.
