|help|how do you insert photos into these posts
This is what I do:
(1) register at www.photobucket.com (it's free).
(2) upload your photo to the site.
(3) once it's uploaded, you'll see 4 little boxes underneath.
(4) click in the bottom box (which auto-copies the link into your clipboard)
(5) paste (Ctrl+v) into your forum posting.
Voila!

I have just copied Mary's original post on how to use Photobucket and made into a sticky at the top of this forum.
Remember where it is, folks! :D

Thanks for that Jan :) I have used Marys example several times on the forum, but always have to hunt for it! This should make it easier to find in case we need it again.

If you don't see the four boxes that Mary mentions, click on Customise Links and make sure the box that says 'IMG Code for Forums and Bulletin Boards' is checked.
Update: Things have changed a bit since Photobucket 'upgraded' their site.
What you need to copy is still IMG Code for Forums and Bulletin Boards'. If this is not showing below the thumbnail picture, double click on the picture to enlarge it. If the IMG Code is still not showing, click on Link Options and make sure that the box is ticked for 'IMG for Forums and Bulletin Boards' - this is the code you need to copy into your B-G posting.
If you still can't find the Link Options (and admittedly since 'updating' the site recently it appears less user friendly in this regard) then go to your Account Options at the very top of the screen and follow Album Settings and then Link Options.

As so many people seem to miss this extremely useful piece of information originally posted by Mary Young, I have added it to the Announcements, located at the top of every board.

That's weird
People on the forum, from all over the world have registered with photobucket. Was the message from their site?

I had a couple of problems with photobucket yesterday. I could not get a picture to show on a website even though I did everything as the prompt tells us. It kept telling me that "The picture/video has been deleted or moved by photobucket"
I would go to photobucket and there in my account was the picture so I recopied the URL and tried to put it into the wother website but it just wasn't having it.
I suspect that photobucket was having problems
