I am trying to find information about Archibald Bonnar Drummond, born 1878 in Glasgow and Sarah Dunlop b. 1875. They married in Hutchtestown Glasgow on 9 June 1905.

Hi Mary,
Archibald Drummond is my Great Great Uncle, the brother of my paternal grandmother, so I have all of his ancestors. I am really looking for descendants of his. There is only one death recorded on Scotlands people of that name and age. It has only recently become available and there is no image of the certificate available on line. It could be that they emigrated, but I really don't know.

I have done a bit more research this weekend and found Sarahs death certificate. She was a widow when she died so the death notice I had found for Archibald Drummond is not her husband as the dates don't match. But I have found the name of her son, as he registered her death. It was Robert D Drummond. Found a birth on Scotlands people for 1912 of a Robert Dickens Drummond in Glasgow. Not sure about the Dickens as the name has not featured in the family before, but the certificate is not available to view on line.

BTW (by the way) you said Archibald Bonnar Drummond was born 1878 - but he's age 1 in 1881 census.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I have been doing some more research and have discovered that Scotlands People works better if you don't put the exact year of an event in.
Right, Archibald Bonnar Drummond was born 12 May 1879 in Glasgow and died in 1930 in Glasgow. His wife Sarah Dunlop (b. 1875) died in 1957. Their son Robert D - have since discovered his birth in 1906 in Alloa and the D stands for Dunlop ( ! )- registered their deaths. He died in 1981. I wonder if there were any more children and if there are any descendents.
