Hello, I'm a new member and would be grateful for some help or advice. I've noticed several references to missing census data that is on microfiche, and wonder if this explains why I can't find the following family on the 1861 or 1881 censuses:
1871 Trevethin, Pentwyn Houses
John Jones, age 36, born Lisvane, Glam
Margaret Jones, age 35, Born Abergasyn, Bre
W Edward, age 14, born Victoria, Mon
Ann, age 12, Born Victoria, Mon
David, age 8, born Victoria, Mon
David and Edmund (Twins) age 3, born Abersychan,
Catherine, age 1, born Abersychan
1891 King St, Aberystruth
Margaret Jones, age 56, born Brec
John Jones, age 25 (should be 35?) born Mon
Davy, age 28, born Mon
Rees, and Edmund, age 23, born Mon
Tom C, age 19, born Mon
Mary C, adopted dau, age 10
I've searched 1861 & 1881 on all the names without success, despite the helpful twins. I have a potential marriage cert but as John & Margaret are my ggg grandparents I'm reluctant to give up!
Many thanks, Lewis1277
