I have a note in my gt aunt's memoir about her uncle Samuel: that she never met him and he died in "some war or other". Samuel MORRIS was born 1873.
If this is the case, I presume it was the Boer War as gt aunt was born 1899.
Is there a listing that anyone knows of which names/identifies Boer War casualties - similar to cwgc site? I have looked at the Macclesfield Boer Memorial on the British Legion website, but no obvious match, and many of the links to other sites are broken/inoperative.
