The Clamp family were bag and trunk manufacturers in Liverpool from 1894 until 1908 when i think the business was sold to Edward Ellwood i would be interested if anyone has information on Ferrin Clamp.

There is a Ferrin Clamp in Pallot's Marriage Index marrying Mary Crawfoot in Norwich St.Andrew in 1780. There can't be too many Ferrin Clamps so I assume this is an earlier generation.
