BURNS/DESMOND

I'm trying to find a Robert Burns, born approx. 1851 in either Liverpool or Dundee. Parents are Henry and Sarah, and I know of one Brother called Henry. Robert married a Mary Jane Macdonald in Nova Scotia in 1879 and they had 11 children. Does anyone know of him?
I'm also looking for John and Julia Desmond, both from Southern Ireland. (Newtown and Castletown respectively). They married in 1845 in The Belgian Chapel in Southwark and had 9 children. Can anyone help?

I wonder if those Desmonds are descended from the earls of Desmond, earls of Kildare, the FitzGeralds, the Barrys and other members of the invading Norman advance party, all descended, I believe, from the Flemish, medieval soldier, Gerald de Barri, whose fortified manor still stands at Manorbier, in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. I think one of Gerald's sons who remained in Wales was the medieval historian, Gerald of Wales.
