Hi All, my surname interests in Co Durham.
Snowdon, Young, Waterson, Robson,
would like to hear from anyone researching these names, mine are mainly Hartlepool and Darlington.

there were 'thousands' of snowdon's and robson's in the ancient borough of hartlepool and you will have a big problem with them.

marriage at holy trinity church in the ancient borough of hartlepool on 01 january 1890:

william snowden age 20.
son of william snowden.


mary elizabeth waterson age 19.
daughter of john waterson.

witnesses were robert widdowfield and margaret snowden.

Hi Grendav, thanks for that they are in my tree, yes I know what you mean about the Snowdon's in that area, it's really frustrating.

We have Snowdon's/den's in our tree... Directly related to the Pounder's, but also Robson's, Hunter's and Boagy's/gey's among others.

(I think my Pounder's are just as bad as My Snowdon's as far as numbers go in Hartlepool)
