I am 5th generation Australian. Have family information back to my gggfather prior to arriving a convict in WA in 1850. His name is James Hatton. He married a Johanna Loobey/y 1854. Both came from Liverpool.

Did he marry Johanna in Australia or in the UK?

Silly question - I've just seen your other posting about him going to Australia in 1850.
