I'm new to the site today. I've been working on my Family Tree for quite awhile now, and have 2 main brick walls. Hopefully, someone can help once I get poking around the forums a bit more. Its unbelievably hard tracing British ancestry from the middle of the Canadian prairies, but I have found distant cousins that have been major help. That's the fun part - finding rellies you didn't know you had.

Have a good day, all

Hello Hawk and welcome to the forum |wave|

We love brickwalls so much that we have a board dedicated to them! So, once you've found your way around, post your queries and we'll see what we can do.

Good luck with your research and enjoy yourself!

Thank you for the welcome! I meant to reply sooner, but it was a long weekend here, and I went out to "play", and never got back to the 'puter. I have been poking around some, and even helped someone! I enjoy this site already!!

Hello fellow 'Peggers!! Interesting who shows up in these forums. Of course, at one time Winnipeg held a lot of Brits.

My Mom's family lived in Winnipeg, and by the odd tricks of Fate, and after being all over Canada, I end up 1 block from where they lived for a year!

Nice to meet you all!
