Bakewell Cemetery

Can anyone tell me where Bakewwell Cemetery is located pls - or if it even still exists. I am visiting Bakewell and hope to find info there on some of my ancestors. I know a couple of them were interred there way back in 1872 and 1885. I have death certs but am hoping to find gravestones if possible. Any help appreciated.

A telephone call to Derbyshire Dales District Council may help. They should be able to put you in contact with the Cemetery Superintendent who in turn should have details of who is buried and where.

I seem to remember something on the A6 travelling south out of Bakewell within walking distance.
Anyway, you must go into the shop selling the original Bakewell Pudding which is nothing like the things you buy anywhere else.
