William David NICHOLLS born in Tavistock. He came to Canada about 1821 or 1822 according to notes I was given. He was a cabinetmaker. There were 5 boys in the family. Other brothers were George who was in hardware in Plymouth, Jack who was a doctor, a butcher and a prizefighter. William died April 7, 1907 in Bowmanville, Ontario.
