i have come up against a brick wall trying to trace my husbands two uncles a sidney albert salmon b1891 thornaby, also a frederick william salmon b1883 thornaby i last found them in 1901 census at 28 law street middlesborough then nothing , can anyone out there help please

have you looked for their WW1 records on the National Archives site? They would both have been of an age to be involved.
