Hi
Has anyone got a Gladys Malpass in their family tree b 1891 father Frederick in Dursley Glos. I am trying to help a friend he has sent for a number of marriage certificates all wrong in an attempt to find her. She was still alive in 1907 but can find no trace of her since. She may have emigrated to Canada but since she possibley was married it is impossible to trace.
I know it highly unlikely but may be someone who has her in their family tree and could supply a marriage or even death information.

This looks as though it might be her from freebmd

Dec 1911 Gloucester 6a 634

Arnold Hugh E
Kirby Bertram J
Malpass Gladys M
THRUSH Florence S

in which case she would be a Mrs Arnold or Mrs Kirby :)

You would have to send for the certificate to be sure which.

A very long shot, and I don't know if the dates fit but there is a Gladys M Kirby traveling from Liverpool to Montreal in Apr 1957 accompanied by Herbert B Kirby and John B Kirby. No ages given, and I hadn't got enough credit to look at the original:( (the units needed using up before I lost them!)

You need to find her marriage first

Hi
Thanks for the information I should have said she was Gladys Elizabeth Malpass and he has sent for the most likely marriage certificates from Free BMD but they are not the correct ones.

Hi Peanut
Many thanks for the information, we thought this was the one unfortuneately sent for the marriage certificate and it was not. Apppreciate your reply though. Thanks and kindest regards Maureen
