Hello.

My family think I'm a bit of an anorak because I pore over census returns and scour all kinds of remote things about people long gone.

So what if your great grandad was a master builder? Who cares what daddy did in the war?

Fools!

Well,in the best sense of the word,of course,as they are all members of a very well established and highly respected group.

So I've joined this group of fellow travellers, and intend to have a good read before I clog up the board with previously answered questions, though I do expect to be seeking help over lost relatives and broken links.

So I am withdeanwombat,1948 - ?,and I'm pleased to be a new member on this board.

|wave| Welcome to the Forum. Glad you could join our happy band.

You are definitely not long in the tooth as you are only a year older than I am :D

Have a good look round and then get posting!

Good luck
