Thanks for the reminder to post a little about ourselves. My name is Judy (Ausiejude) and I am over 60 years ols and I live in the Northern tablelands of New South Wales in a small town called Walcha (promounced Wolka). I have been researching now for over 25 years but with the advent of research on the internet, I seem to have progressed even further.
I have just entered my family history onto a family history web site and found fellow researchers who are tracing the same people as me and this has re-newed my enthusiasm for family history research.
My main families that I am researching are IVES, CROW, PINNINGTON, BOND, JEFFERY, ULPH, FIELD, ELLIS, WILLIAMS, COLEMAN, GILL, PACKER, SANDYS, SMITH, SPOONER, all coming from England.

Hello Judy and welcome to Brit-Gen |wave|

I too have Ives and Smith in my tree so, should you find a link with yours and the Essex/Cambridgeshire border, give me a shout. Meanwhile, have a rootle amongst the boards and post any stumbling blocks on the appropriate one(s).

Have fun,

Bo Peep

Seeing COLEMAN and GILL together makes me wonder whether they're from the same area as my COLEMAN and GILL - Nottinghamshire?

Thanks all for the welcome..........................my Ives hail from Great Waltham, Essex but the Smith/Spooner come from Leominister/Hereford and Sidbury/Worcester. My Coleman/Gill connection come from Bodmin/Cornwall. I forgot in my introduction to mention a few other families that are tied in with the Ives connection, and they are Whitlock/Archer from Brackley, Northanptonshire.
