Hi
My name is Sue,
I have just joined today, to what looks like a very interesting site.
I have been tree hunting for about 2 years now, and think I have done very well finding lots of long lost relations, from England to South Africa, Canada to name but a few.
Along the way I have been in touch with some very lovely people, who have been so helpful.
At the moment I am concentrating on my G.G.Grandfather John Leat born 1814 in Bath Somerset,he was a tailor, all I can find out about him is in the 1851 & 1861 Census's, prior to that zilch !
He married Sarah Southern, their first son John Henry was born in Nottingham 1844 next son Charles 1847 was born in Hanley Stoke on Trent, and that's where they all remained.
He may have had a sister called Kezia Leat 1821 born in Bath, who married Joseph Vile 1823, they moved to London. This is where my hunt draws a blank, but who knows, this could be the start of something, with my new site, and lots of people who may be able to help.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope to hear from some of you in the future
Bye for now
Sue
