My name is Eric and I have been tracing my family history for two years now with varying degrees of success but I have now got a problem with early parish register information. I need to know with some certainty the following , my gg grandfather was JOSEPH EATON born Wrenbury Cheshire in 1798 married MARTHA ? in 1827 'ish what was her maiden name ? also JOSEPH'S parents were
CHARLES and CATHARINE ? married 1793 in Marbury Cheshire what was her maiden name, Would be grateful for any help.

Did they have any children born after 1837, whose births were registered? A birth certificate would provide you with the maiden name.


CHARLES and CATHARINE ? married 1793 in Marbury Cheshire what was her maiden name, Would be grateful for any help.

If you know the year and place of marriage, a simple check of the parish register should provide the information.

If you cannot get to the relevant record office, they may be able to provide a facsimile image, either photocopy or on fiche. Alternatively, if you can get to one of the mormon church (LDS) record centres, you may be able to hire a microfilm copy of the register.
