Hello All

I am a new member and this is my first post. I have been researching my family for just over two years. I didn't realise that it would take over my life and how absorbing it would become. I joined two family history societies (Kent and Devon) and Ancestry, but I found I received the most help from forums such as this one. The "old hands" are only too pleased to help a novice like me - and I needed all the help I could get!
