hi researching my husbands family for two years now but hit that big brickwall. In 1820THOMAS MURRAY had a son FORBES with a BARBARA SLESSOR in tyrie aberdeenshire, on the parish record it says reputed father. thats as far as I can get. I live in Australia now and have tried the Aberdeen fhs and had no luck.
