View Full Version : Henry Wheeler Residence Middleton Lodge Cheltenham

There is a reference to Middleton Lodge in Kelly's Directory of 1892, occupied by Henry Wheeler. In the 1914 edition,

Would someone from B-G be so kind as to look up in the directory this information above. I thought my great grandfather had died before 1914 but the house could have been registered in his name still. I would be most interested to find out where this house is or was and who was in it at this date 1914. I emailed Tabley House Middleton Superior, Cheshire who gave me this reference but I do not know who to search it. With many thanks indeed Joanna

Cheltenham
Mrs Wheeler, Middleton Lodge, St George's Road
and also
Arthur George Wheeler, Ivanhoe, Gloucester Road.

Thank you very much for finding this ,Kelly's 1914 Directory of Gloucestershire shows CheltenhamMrs Wheeler, Middleton Lodge, St George's Road do we know if this house still exists?

I am sure this is my great grandmother. Would there be a census which would show us the ages and who else lived there would be so kind as to look for me. This is marvellous you managed to trac the place. Many thanks in deed. Joanna

1911 census is due to be released on 1st January 2012 - this will be the nearest. Patience!
