in search for james hodder

hi my name is mary
i live in newport gwent south wales
i have been searching for my gg grandfather james hodder.
and i have no luck so far i dont know much about him all
i know that he came from devon where he was born i dont know
his year of birth is 1803 or 1806. and that he married a rachel cooksley
she came from chard somerset but they did not get married in chard
but i think they married in the year of 1823 or 1824 not sure
i know that they lived in tiverton with their children and that
he worked as a lacehand in tiverton.
i havebeen trying to trace james for a long time now but no luck
i would like to find out more about him and his family his parent
and if he has any brothers or sisters and to see how far back
the hodder family goes back
i started researching my family after i suffered a stroke that left me
with plenty of time on my hands
