Is there a place in Derbyshire called Batterby or Butterly Park, I have an ancestor who was born there. On one census it was Batterby, Derbyshire as his birthplace and then on the next census his birth place is Butterly Park, Derbyshire, the writing is not clear and I think that is what it says.
Is Batterby/Butterly in Derbyshire

I don't know anything about Derbyshire, but you may find what you are looking for at http://www.wirksworth.org.uk/DPI-B.htm and http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DBY/Pigot1835/dbybutte.html

Butterley Park is in Derbyshire but not too far from a border with Nottinghamshire. If you look on a map, it is about one mile from Ripley and is very close to Swannick.

The first name you quoted from a census, although I have not checked the entry, looks as if it is a typo. or someone is reading the entry incorrectly.

Hope this helps

Jack
