Hi all,
I am trying to glean some more information on my late grandmother,Elizabeth McMilllan Stalker who was married to the late Norman Alexander Guise. The were married in 1919 at Limestone Plains, Southland.They farmed at Fairfax, Southland and retired to Invercargill.She died in 1965 and Norman in 1972.Much is written on the Guise family whom descended from Hudson Guise and Elizabeth Clark, but I would like to know more of my grand mothers history from the Stalker side. I know she had a sister Margaret and two brothers.I barely remember her brother Don,as he must have died early in life.Other brother was Walter married to Peggy.

Would like to know the parents of Elizabeth and then work back as I have no information at all on the Stalker family in my tree, except date of birth and marriage.

Will have a look in the next few days, however I suspect that all I will probably be able to get you initially is a reference for you to order her birth certificate NZ$25 which will have both parents names.

Thanks for your help.Anything will do at the moment.Just to get the ball rolling.Not likely to get much info from relatives because I have lost touch with most of them, or they have died off.
