Bowen/Jones. Stottesdon 1746

Hi all, I'm Jenni, I'm a newbie to this site & I've been researching my family history for years and years, but have, for the first time ever, hit the brick wall!

I'm trying to track details of my 5 x Gt Grandmother. She was Eleanor Jones and she married Francis Bowen on 04 May 1746 at Stottesdon, Shropshire. I haven't been able to track if either of them was actually born in Stottesdon.

Is there any one out there who has details of either Francis or Eleanor? OK, I could trot down the road to Shropshire Archives, but I thought for once I'd try this way first, before I hitch up the horse power!

Hi Jenni, I appreciate that this is a longshot, four years after you asked the question, but I'm searching for a John Jones whjo married Elizabeth Lee in 1782 in Melverley, which I believe is very near Stottesden.

Just wondered if you have heard of either of them.
