Can anyone help did they have anymore Children.

Hello Jinni and welcome to the forum.

I can see James and Hannah in the 1891 and 1901 census with Annie and Agnes but I am sorry I don't know how to search for further children, without names, until the 1911 census becomes available.

Maybe the Scottish sites can search for children on a father's surname and mother's name post 1901. I don't know....

The only way to search online for Scottish births occuring since 1875 (which is the cut off date for the IGI) is to utilize the pay per view facilities outlined in the General Register Office Scotland governmental website http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/index.html

Unfortunately it is not possible to search on parents names so a search can require a bit of net casting to pick up a pageful of results and then hopefully locate a likely record or two amongst them. Since it is possible to search by surname and parish and a given time frame and given the fact that AMBROSE is a somewhat uncommon surname I'll tell you there is a birth for an Edith in 1885 in Govan which fits the bill for being a third daughter. If she cannot be found on later census records then perhaps she died young. It would also be possible to search for a corresponding death for her on the same pay per view basis.
