34th Regiment of Foot (The Cumberland Regiment)

Does anyone have any information about the exploits of this regiment between the years 1811 and 1821 (the Napoleonic War period).

I've read all the work published in the public domain which describes generally what the first and second battalions were doing, but I'd like to try and find out more detail of what was occurring between the particular dates.

Any help will be gratefully received.

You might try writing to the Border Regiment Museum (http://www.kingsownbordermuseum.btik.com/home.ikml) for details of what the 34th did in these periods.

I take it you have someone who served in the regiment, have you obtained his discharge papers/service record from TNA?
