I have realised that one of my ancestors, Harold Ormonde Hammant is listed on Ancestry - or quite probably - under Harold O Hammant, in the military service medal roll for WW1.
Someone off another site pointed it out to me but I don''t have a sub. Is there any kind soul with an Ancestry sub who would be prepared to relay the details for me?

Many thanks:D

I don't/wont have a subscription to that site. However, if no one comes back to you, you can purchase a copy via TNA's documents online (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/details-result.asp?Edoc_Id=2921238&queryType=1&resultcount=1)
(that entry looks like the chap, but you always try a search for yourself to confrm it) It iwll cost £3.50 to download the card.

Also, Ancestry is available free at Worcestershire Libraries.
