Ambrose Harrop

searching for info on Ambrose Harrop who married Sarah Lucy Buckley. He died July 10 1880 in Oldham Lancashire. A son George Thomas came to Canada and settled and a daughter Martha married a Robert Dewhurst and went to USA with all their kids in 1879, Ambrose Harrop was at one time schoolmaster of Hey Chapel and later worked as estate agent, tax collector and parish clerk. As I am living in New Brunswick Canada it is hard to research across the water... any help would be appreciated. Betty
