Hi everyone, |wave|

I'v just joined this week, when I came across this site by accident. |woohoo|It looks a great site with loads of useful info, I'm looking forward to being part of the forum.

I have being researching my family history for about 3 years and feel quite happy with were i have got too, but the joy of this hobby is every lead gives you something else to look into, so there is always plenty of new things to learn. I am quite erratic in my searching, when I hit a dead end on one line for a bit, I'll go off on another. So I'v ended up following sibblings and female lines as well as my direct line. At the moment I'm trying too sort of add a bit of meat to the bones and find out about the occupations and lives of my ancestors.

The main names I am following are,
SIMONS (Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire), REEVE (Northhamptonshire, Nottinghamshire), KIRKHAM (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire), THRALL (Nottinghamshire, Ireland)

can anyone tell me how to do a permanent signature, so I can leave the main names I'm interested in at the bottom of my posts, I can't see it in the control panel section.

Thanks
Jane x

Welcome Magpie.
You will have to give the members a bit of info into where in the country you are searching for these people. You may be lucky and come across someone who already have details that may be usefull and there are plenty of folk on here that enjoy helping out others.
Cheers.
Dave

Hello and welcome to the forum Maggie.
Have a look around and post your interests in the relevant forums.
I believe your signature option should appear in the User CP after a number of posts. It is limited to the number of charactors, you might not get them all on, when the option appears, try to list youy names by counties.
Enjoy.
