Delighted to belong to such an interesting research group. I'm 70 year old new to family researching and interestingly grand parents on both my wife's side of the family and mine were all publicans. Records of licences seem hard to come by, so I'm hoping that your learned members in the Innkeepers forum will be able to guide me.

Welcome to the British-Generalogy forums.

Grab a cuppa, put your feet up and have a good browse.

What are you hoping to find out about your publican ancestors?

Many thanks for your opening welcome and input in the Innkeepers section, into which I will reply to this and your other advice.

Many thanks for your kind welcome. If the initial reply to my first attempts at gleaning information and advice is anything to go by, I am to be amptly rewarded and hope I can do the same to others later.
