i know what the urethra is and cystitis and septacaemia - but what does stucture mean?

It couldn't be Stricture could it? I can't see anything on the Internet for Stucture, except wrongly spelled Structure. However, there's lots for Stricture.

How old was the person?
It might relate to a blockage of the urethra caused by cystitis and septacaemia.

A urethral stricture is a fibrous narrowing of the urethra, usually resulting from injury or inflammation.

If they had a stricture of the urethra which has been discussed they would have not been able to pass urine, this would then have "backed up" to the kidneys causing renal failure and sepsis,
or
it may refer to a urine infection whereby it can difficult to pass anything thereby also eventually causing sepsis.
