Hi all,
does anyone know of or has heard of Sowerbys Travelling Drift mine near Sunniside and Stanley Crook?
I have located it on the historical map viewer from Durham Record office, but cant seem to find out any other information about it.
My Grandfather worked here in the 1940-1950's, sadly he died a few years ago and I didnt ask him about it!
