Hi all.

I'm Matt Deller from Sittingbourne in Kent. I'm only 33 but decided with two young daughters than one of the Dellers needed to take a look back and start to record for future generations.

I've only been researching since the new year but with ancestry and these boards i've gone back 6 generations to 1801 on paternal side and into 1700s on maternal side.

I am overwhelmed at the support everyone offers. I've had much help with queries re WW1 records but still lots more work to do.

Hello Matt and welcome to Brit-Gen |wave|

Yes, we try to be a helpful bunch, albeit a little dotty at times. Have a good look round and, when you're ready, post your queries on the relevant boards.

Have fun,

Hi Matt

Welcome to the forum - there seem to be quite a lot of us who live in Kent.

You're definitely not the youngest member. We have/had someone who was in their teens. We haven't heard from them for a while, so maybe they are up to their eyes in study.

Enjoy your stay with us - we are a very quirky lot! ;)

Welcome Matt, from another Kent member. :D

Glad you seem to be doing so well on your journey to the past. Let us know if we can help you with anything, and enjoy the experience.
